Please join us for the 2021 ALP Benefit! This week- long benefit will feature FUNactivities, opportunity to connect and network, and a Silent Auction to support the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program. Virtual events and online bidding will make it easy for you to participate from the convenience of your home where ever you live. The Featured Events , scheduled to last approximately an hour, are listed below including date and times based on Eastern Time. Drawings and prizes will be awarded each evening. You must be present to win. Following each event, plenty of time will be allowed for stick around for visiting and catching up with great friends and colleagues.
Your $100 registration fee includes the Zoom link to each of the special events and access to the silent auction website for bidding. Once you have registered, a confirmation will be emailed to you and will include the Zoom link to access each event along with any information you need to know to participate in the week long ALP Benefit.
** Special note to anyone wishing to participate in the auction bidding only. You do not need to buy a ticket. However, if you are successful in winning an auction item(s), you will be assessed a $25 participation fee.
Monday, March 22 7 p.m. Trivia Night
Trivia Buffs join in the fun, test your knowledge, have a few laughs and see who you can outwit.
Tuesday, March 23 7 p.m. Cooking Class sponsored by Indiana Pork
Step into the kitchen and be guided through the preparation of fine cuisine with Chef Dean Sample, former executive chef at Northside Social, and now owner/chef of Big Bear Biscuits. Chef Sample was raised on a corn and soybean farm. The list of supplies and ingredients needed will be sent to you in advance.
Wednesday, March 24 7 p.m. Evening with former Indiana Lt. Governors, sponsored by Bose McKinney & Evans LLP
Spend a unique evening with three of Indiana’s most recent Lt. Governor’s Sue Ellspermann, Becky Skillman and Kathy Davis. The evening’s program will an amazing discussion with these impactful woman leaders and look to the future of Indiana Agriculture. Discussion will be moderated by AgrIInstitute Chairperson, Julia Wickard. A discussion you won’t want to miss.
Thursday, March 25 7 p.m. Scavenger Hunt, sponsored by Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council
Get ready for a lively, and interactive experience as you complete unique missions, in the comfort of your own home under the guidance of an experienced guide. Our Celebrity Judges, are former ISDA Directors and ALP Graduates will keep you on your toes. Fun, laughs and a new experience await you.
Friday, March 26 7 p.m. Indiana Uplands Wine Tasting sponsored by Indiana Uplands Wine Trail and Purdue Wine Grape Team
Join us for an evening of discovery, swirling and learning with the Purdue Wine Grape Team and Indiana Wine! During this experience, you will take a historical tour through Indiana’s first American Viticulture Area (AVA) and gain a better understanding to the history of Indiana wine. Pop a cork and embark on a complete sensory analysis of three Indiana wines of the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail! Each tasting will receive a packet of educational + sipping material for use during this evening. Wrap up a great week of fun and auction bidding celebrating the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program. Meet the members of ALP Classes 18 and 19 and honor the individuals serving and leading AgrIInstitute, and help conduct the business of AgrIInstitute operations. Join us to celebrate the contributions all involved in advancing Indiana agriculture as we close out the AUCTION BIDDING.
